Join our mission to end breast cancer forever by participating in the Pledge for the Cure program. You can raise funds by collecting donations from your friends, family, classmates and co-workers. Take your pledge form and your support me fundraising cards everywhere you go. Us them to share your personal fundraising goal with others. Many people will be grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the cause. After you have collected all of your checks and money orders please fill out the pledge form and mail it to 4009 Hillsboro Pike, Suite 209, Nashville, TN 37215 . Please do not mail cash. Online Pledge for the Cure
Race Participants
When you register online a personal web page is automatically created for you to use. You can personalize your page with photos and a story about why you fundraise. Use your fundraising cards to direct people to your fundraising center.
Non-Race Participants
You do not have to run or walk...You can SLEEP IN FOR THE CURE!! Receive your 2009 Greater Nashville Race for the Cure T-Shirt and work to fundraise for the Cure, but you can spend your Saturday morning on October 10th at work, in bed or doing a million other things. We just need your help in fundraising to find a CURE!
My Race HQ (your personal webpage)
Your personal web page can be customized by uploading personal photos and writing text about why you participate. You can send emails from your webpage to friends, family members, and co-workers asking them to support you by making an online donation.
Offline Donations (checks & money orders)
There are many ways to fundraise and promote your participation in the Race for the Cure. As you collect checks and money orders please consider these guidelines.
1. Offline donations (checks and or money orders) should be collected by the Race participant and mailed in monthly or all at once with an official DO MORE FOR THE CURE form. The pledge form should detail each donor, check number and amount, along with a total. Funds received by the office without a form attached will not be counted for prize purposes.
2. Please have checks made payable to Komen Greater Nashville Race for the Cure®.
3. Please have donors write the Race participants name in the memo portion of the check.
4. The pledge form and checks must be post marked and mailed to the 4009 Hillsboro Pike, Suite 209, Nashville, TN 37215 NO LATER THAN October 9, 2009 to be added to your team fundraising awards. Please do not mail cash.
5. The offline donations will be posted online only as a total (each individual donor may not be listed).
6. Funds brought to the Race will be included on your personal fundraising web page only if they meet the above requirements.

DO MORE FOR THE CURE Form
You can submit your Do More for the CURE donations during on-site registration at A+ Storage on Division Street between October 3rd and Octoeber 9th. . You may also submit the donations the morning of the race at Maryland Way Park. Look for the DO MORE FOR THE CURE tent. Please bring your completed Pledge form along with your collected donations in a sealed envelope. Print your name, phone number and address on the sealed envelope. If you wish to mail your donations, send them along with the completed Pledge form (DO NOT MAIL CASH) to the following address:

Teams
The team captain in each category; Corporation, Medical, School, Spiritual Organization, or Other, that raises the most money by November 13th will receive a trophy and an invitation to our post Race Thank You Event.
Individuals
All individuals that fundraise are eligible for prizes based on the amount raised. Individual prize level will be determined based on funds postmarked and/or posted online by November 13, 2009.
(Prizes are not cumulative. Substitution of gifts/certificates of equal value may be necessary pending availability.)
Individual prize eligibility will be determined based on donations received as of October 9th, 2009.
If your employer has a Matching Funds Program please attach the necessary form(s) and your donations will go twice as far. Matching funds will be considered for prize determination if they are received by the Greater Nashville Affiliate Office as by 1/10/2010..
